Beauty and the Beast the musical first debuted on Broadway in April 1994 and is based on the beloved Disney Animation film from 1991. This musical was Disney’s first foray into producing a musical adaptation for the stage and has been a worldwide success over the past 30 years. The musical features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and book by Linda Woolverton.
This tour features a reimagined production in celebration of the musical’s 30th anniversary.
A special Beauty and the Beast the Musical Crossbody Bag by Disney Dooney & Bourke was released in conjunction with the tour and is available to purchase on-site at the merchandise stand.
T‌he allover print is inspired by the classic song “Be Our Guest” and features lyrics from the song and illustrations of the dishes, including en flambé, beef ragout, cheese soufflé, pie, pudding, “Try the grey stuff, it’s delicious,” and much more.
The bags feature a white background with tan leather finishings.
