This year’s EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will take place beginning March 4, 2026 until June 1, 2026.

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is a beloved annual event at Walt Disney World, celebrating the beauty of nature with vibrant floral displays, intricate topiaries, and outdoor kitchens serving seasonal flavors. Guests can explore breathtaking gardens, enjoy live entertainment, and discover exclusive merchandise inspired by the festival’s theme.

One of the festival’s most iconic symbols is Orange Bird, the beloved citrus-themed character who first appeared in the 1970s as a mascot for the Florida citrus industry. Each year, Orange Bird takes center stage in festival-exclusive merchandise, from apparel to collectible sippers, and often appears in special food and drink offerings. His cheerful, sunshine-filled aesthetic perfectly complements the festival’s bright and fresh atmosphere, making him a fan-favorite part of the celebration.

Spike the Bee is another character that has come to symbolize the festival in recent years. Spike first appeared as ‘Buzz Buzz’ in several Disney animated shorts during the 1940s, before being reintroduced in the 2017 Mickey Mouse short Bee Inspired. A year later, EPCOT Imagineers created ‘Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration’ for the 2018 Flower and Garden Festival — a fan-favorite scavenger hunt that sends guests around the park in search of hidden Spikes tucked among the garden displays. Since then, he has grown into an unofficial mascot of the festival. 

This year’s collection includes a crossbody bag. The design features a floral allover print and includes images of Orange Bird and Spike the Bee, as well as Spaceship Earth, flowers, leaves, and Citrus Swirl against a light orange background. 

The bag includes a removable leather hangtag embossed with “EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2026.”
