Orange Bird is taking center stage with the new Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival 2022 by Dooney & Bourke Collection. The collection flew into Epcot on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 and Disney Store on Friday, March 11, 2022.

The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival runs from March 2 to July 4, 2022.
The print features an allover design with Orange Bird on a light green background. The background also features white flowers with green leaves, while the overall print depicts Orange Bird sitting in a watering can, gardening and in a variety of poses. Spaceship Earth has taken the form of an orange slice on this handbag design. Plus, there are more orange slices and orange halves decorating the purses.

The handbag includes a leather embossed hangtag with the words “Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival 2022.”
Additionally, the bags have brown leather finishings with contrast stitching and mint green edging. Each bag also has light blue interior fabric lining. The collection includes three silhouettes: a tote, crossbody and satchel.

The orange bird pattern is cute. However, not a fan of the continued use of regular brown leather and the stiff handles. I find the regular brown reminds me of an orange brown which kind of clashes in the Christmas bag that I just got in December. I loved my Christmas bag at first, but now I am kind of wishing Dooney would keep with black or vachetta colored leather. I think besides inflation, one of the main reasons we are seeing videos of items hanging around longer are because I’m not the only one tired of the choices. The valentines pattern is cute, and I would like the tote if it had handles that weren’t stuck straight up. Overall, I do like the orange bird pattern and the flower and garden festival has released some of my favorite patterns over the years. Thanks for the article and look forward to reading more!
