Disney100 Celebration by Disney Dooney and Bourke

2023 marked the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company! To commemorate this milestone, the Disney100 Celebration Dooney & Bourke Collection was released as part of a larger Disney 100 Platinum Celebration Collection. The collection was released at Disney Parks and the tote and satchel were released on Disney Store on December 12, 2022. The crossbody bag was released on December 13, 2022. 

The collection includes three silhouettes: a tote bag, crossbody bag and satchel. 

Originally founded on October 16, 1923, as the Disney Brothers Studio by Walt and Roy O. Disney, the company now known as the Walt Disney Company will be celebrating its 100th anniversary of bringing joy and entertainment to generations. Of course, it all started with Mickey Mouse, so Mickey is just one of the characters that are front and center in this collection! 

 

The print features Mickey and Friends in their platinum celebration outfits! The classic Disney characters include:

• Mickey
• Minnie
• Donald
• Daisy
• Goofy
• Pluto
• Chip ‘n Dale
• Tinker Bell

Each character is dressed in their finest platinum-themed formal outfits, with the male characters in tuxedos and the female characters in formal dresses. Each outfit features platinum details to go along with the platinum theme. The print’s background is also an off-white color and features platinum art deco-style details framing each character. The collection features leather finishings and a removable leather hangtag with the “Disney 100” logo in the middle of a Mickey head. Finally, instead of the usual goldtone hardware, this Disney Dooney and Bourke collection features silvertone hardware to go with the platinum anniversary theme.
