Disneyland 60th Anniversary Blue Leather

Released in July 2015, the Disneyland 60th Anniversary Blue Leather Collection by Disney Dooney & Bourke commemorates Disneyland’s 60th anniversary and was released in conjunction with the park’s Diamond Celebration.

Open since July 17, 1955, Disneyland’s 60th anniversary was a momentous occasion that radiated with nostalgia, celebration, and a profound sense of history. Six decades of enchantment and imagination were commemorated with a grandeur that only Disney could orchestrate. Sleeping Beauty Castle, adorned in shimmering diamonds and dazzling jewels, became the centerpiece of this jubilant event, casting a spell of awe and wonder over visitors. The park’s storied past was celebrated through parades, special shows, and exhibits that paid tribute to Walt Disney’s visionary dream. Guests young and old were transported through time, reliving cherished memories while forging new ones. The Disneyland 60th Anniversary Blue Leather collection features a blue leather background embossed with icons and characters from Disneyland Park in black. The allover pattern features Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. We can see each of their heads. Plus, there is a silhouette of Mickey holding a diamond gemstone. Additionally, Sleeping Beauty’s Castle is also featured prominently in the print and has a banner underneath it that reads “Diamond Celebration.” Other symbols include the Disneyland “D” with a diamond gem, the number 60, fireworks, diamond gems, sparkles, and diamond shapes. 

This collection includes three different silhouettes: a satchel, crossbody bag and wallet.  The handbags feature black leather finishings with contrast stitching.
