Orange Bird EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival 2024 by Dooney & Bourke

Everything is in full bloom at the 2024 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, taking place at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT. This year’s event will be held from February 28, 2024 until May 27, 2024. 

The 2024 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival Disney Dooney & Bourke collection was released on the first day of the festival and features Orange Bird! The collection was released on Disney Store on Monday, March 4, 2024. 

 

The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival showcases stunning floral displays, topiary art featuring beloved Disney characters, and vibrant gardens bursting with color. Guests enjoy culinary delights at outdoor kitchens, live music performances, interactive exhibits, and educational workshops on gardening and conservation, creating a blooming paradise for all ages.

Orange Bird was first introduced in the 1970s as a mascot for the Florida Citrus Commission. Designed by Disney, the character symbolized the Sunshine State’s citrus industry. With its cheerful demeanor and association with wholesome Florida oranges, Orange Bird captured hearts instantly and remains a popular character at EPCOT.

The allover pattern features Orange Bird, oranges and orange slices on a blue background. Additionally, the design includes a variety of flowers and Spaceship Earth. 

Three silhouettes are included in the collection: a tote, crossbody camera bag and satchel. The handbags all include a removal leather hangtag debossed with “EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival 2024.” Plus, the light brown leather finishings are edged in orange.
