It’s a Small Worlds Kids 2021 Collection by Dooney and Bourke
Following its premiere at the 1964 New York World’s Fair, Disney it’s a small world opened on May 28, 1966 at Disneyland and October 1, 1971 at Walt Disney World. The iconic boat ride features over 300 animatronic dolls dressed in traditional garb from different cultures around the world, singing and dancing along to the unforgettable title song “It’s a Small World” and celebrates peace.
The handbag collection’s design features an all-over print that pays homage to Mary Blair’s original colorful and whimsical design of the it’s a small world attraction.
The It’s a Small World 2021 Dooney & Bourke Collection includes three silhouettes: a satchel, tote, and wallet.

The print includes different children of the world, pieces of the it’s a small world-building and symbols from the ride, such as flowers, gondolas and more on a pale blue background. The words “Hello” and “Goodbye” feature on the print as well with their translations in a number of languages, so that the print includes text of the words namaste, bonjour, hola, aloha, shalom and ciao, au revoir, and adios.
