Taxi!! Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are exploring all the excitement of the Big Apple in the New York City Collection by Dooney & Bourke. The collection was released in June 2021 at Disney Store Japan, at Disney Parks in the U.S. on July 12, 2021 and on Disney Store on Monday, July 26, 2021.

 

 

The allover print features Mickey and Minnie enjoying NYC. Mickey is having a hot dog from a New York hot dog cart. Minnie is holding several shopping bags and her yellow heels in her hands while wearing tennis shoes. It looks like her feet got tired from all of the walking in the big city! Mickey and Minnie are sitting together on a park bench and having cups of coffee. Along with Mickey and Minnie the print features colorful illustrations of some of the Big Apple’s most recognizable icons, including the Statue of Liberty, Statue of Liberty crowns, the Manhattan Bridge, yellow taxis, apples, and soft pretzels. Additionally, the words and phrases “big city life,” “the big apple,” “city of dreams,” “New York,” “taxi,” “hey,” and “Manhattan” as well as hearts and Mickey heads are included on the print.

 

 

The print is on a black background and the collection has black leather finishings with light blue edgings. The collection includes a tote bag, zip top satchel and wristlet wallet.
