OOAK Balloons

"One of a Kind" bags, or OOAK for short, are sample prototype pieces created by Dooney & Bourke but were never mass-produced. Since they are so rare, OOAK bags are not available for sale except through secondary marketplaces, like eBay.

While a Mini Margot silhouette was created for the Balloons Collection, a full size Margot was not mass produced, which makes this bag a one of a kind. This item first appeared at the Disney Dooney & Bourke Sample Sale, held on May 25, 2013 at Downtown Disney Marketplace’s TrenD at Walt Disney World.

Balloons Black Collette Tote with Tan Leather Finishings OOAK

The Collette Tote was created for the Balloons Collection. However, the versions that were mass produced were either white with tan finishings or black with black finishings. This sample handbag is black with tan finishings and is a one of a kind.

This silhouette was mass produced for the Balloons Collection. However, the black Susanna Tote had black leather finishings while this sample was black with tan finishings. This bag is one-of-a-kind.

This silhouette was mass produced for the Balloons Collection. However, only a black version was available on the retail market. This sample of the white Susanna tote is one-of-a-kind.

Balloons Black Medium Shopper OOAK

A limited edition version of this silhouette was released as a DVC Exclusive. However, this one-of-a-kind bag has a leather embossed “Dooney & Bourke” label while the retail version has the metal “Dooney & Bourke” plate on the front of the bag. This version also has the Dooney duck hangtag, while the retail version has a leather embossed hangtag.

This silhouette was not created for the collection. Only a black mini barrel bag was released. This white barrel bag is one-of-a-kind.

A drawstring backpack with a single top handle was released for the Balloons collection. This drawstring bag with double top handles was not made for the retail market. It is also a smaller size than the backpack.

This silhouette was mass produced for the Balloons Collection. However, only a white version was available on the retail market. This sample of the black Collette tote is one-of-a-kind. The bag first appeared at the Disney Cruise Line Fantasy Sample Sale in July 2014.
