The iconic Haunted Mansion wallpaper motif is one of the most recognizable and beloved designs associated with Disney’s Haunted Mansion attraction. Disney’s Haunted Mansion first opened at Disneyland in 1969, blending spooky and whimsical elements to create an iconic attraction. Originally envisioned in the 1950s, it underwent years of design changes as Imagineers debated between a walkthrough or ride format. The final version, a doom buggy ride, brought to life eerie effects like the ghostly ballroom and the Hitchhiking Ghosts.
